A Sense of Pride and Belonging

Our uniform identifies our students and instils a sense of pride and belonging in the school.

The unique batik-patterned uniform was designed with input from students and parents. It features a gecko and orchids to represent our host country, Indonesia. Practical, smart and value for money, it is specifically designed for the hot Indonesian climate. School uniforms place all students on an equal footing in terms of appearance, and encourages a strong sense of pride and community.

Uniform School Policy

It is our school policy that all children wear the school uniform when attending school, or when participating in a school-organised event outside the school. We ask all parents who send their children to our school to support the school uniform policy. It is the responsibility of parents to ensure that their child has the correct uniform and that it is clean and in good repair. A note is required from parents if a student is unable to wear the correct uniform for the day and must contain a legitimate reason.

We ask all parents to support our uniform policy by ensuring their child has the correct uniform, that it is clean and in good repair. If for any reason a student is unable to wear the correct uniform for the day, they must bring a note from home. Students can be sent home or asked to work in the Vice-Principal Primary’s/Principal’s office if they continue to wear the incorrect uniform.

P.E. lessons
If P.E. is timetabled for first thing in the morning, students can wear their P.E. uniform to school and change into their batik uniform after the lesson. If P.E. is later in the day, students must wear their batik uniform to school and change into their P.E. gear later.

House activities
On days House activities are scheduled, students can either wear their house shirts to school, or wear their batik uniform, and change into their house shirts later.

Excursions
Students are expected to wear their batik uniform or P.E. kit as directed.

Non-uniform days are a great way for students to have fun and dress to a theme, however dress must still be appropriate.
