Secondary courses of study
Years 7 – 9: Middle School
In Years 7 to 9, the broad-based curriculum provides an excellent foundation for study at IGCSE and IB Diploma levels. English, mathematics, science, global perspectives, art and design, music, physical education follow the Cambridge International curriculum frameworks. Drama, dance, design technology and health and personal development follow the National curriculum for England. The Bahasa Indonesian curriculum follows the national curriculum.
Years 10 – 11: International General Certificates of Secondary Education (IGCSEs)
During Years 10 and 11, our students study a range of courses which lead to IGCSE exams. Specifically designed to meet the needs of students at international schools, courses lead to globally-respected qualifications equal to the GCSE exams taken by students in the United Kingdom at the same age. Cambridge IGCSE is the world’s most popular international qualification for 14 to 16 year olds and is taught in over 10,000 schools in more than 160 countries.
Years 12 – 13: International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)
For students in Year 12 and 13, the IB Diploma is a two-year course following on directly from IGCSE. It provides greater breadth and depth of study than many national systems allow and is an internationally recognised qualification for university entrance.
