A truly holistic education
Developing students who flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically.
The International Baccalaureate is a globally recognised curriculum that challenges students to excel in their studies and encourages both personal and academic achievement as part of a truly holistic education.
At ACG School Jakarta, our primary school curriculum is developed through the framework of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP). It nurtures children’s natural curiosity through Units of Inquiry and provides ongoing opportunities to explore, acquire essential knowledge and skills, and develop positive attitudes.
Our inquiry-based programme develops communication and socialisation skills and prepares students well for future learning opportunities.
In the Senior School, Year 12 and 13 students may choose to study the two-year International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP).
IBDP is recognised and respected by the world’s leading universities, and evidence suggests that higher rates of DP students go on to university and higher education study than non-IB students.
This programme is geared to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who are motivated to succeed; students who flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically.
Throughout the programme, students are encouraged to reflect on the nature of knowledge, complete independent research and undertake a community-minded project.
Students select six subjects, one from each group, with three at Higher Level (HL) and three at Standard Level (SL).
ACG IBDP students have gone on to top universities around the world.
